Dear Esteemed Readers,
It is with great pleasure that we present Volume 9, Issue 2 (July-December 2025) of the Chinese Journal of Social Science and Management (CJSSM)—A journal devoted to fostering scholarly dialogue and advancing research across the fields of social sciences and management, with a particular emphasis on Chinese-language scholarship in Southeast Asia and beyond.
Following our recent recognition as a Tier 1 journal (TCI1) by the Thai Journal Citation Index Centre, CJSSM continues to uphold its mission of promoting high-quality, interdisciplinary research that bridges theory and practice, as well as regional experience and global perspective. This achievement reflects the collective commitment of our contributors, reviewers, and partner institutions in maintaining academic rigor and regional relevance.
To further strengthen its academic positioning, CJSSM has refined its scope to include the following key domains:
- Management: Business Management, Marketing, Management and Accounting, Human Resource Management, Organizational Management, Strategic Management, Logistics Management, Arts Management, and Tourism Management;
- Education: Teaching and Curriculum Development, Educational Techniques, Measurement and Assessment, and Educational Management;
- Liberal Arts: Linguistics and Language.
This issue presents twenty peer-reviewed articles contributed by scholars from leading universities and research institutions in Thailand and China. The studies encompass a broad spectrum of contemporary academic inquiry, including:
- Education and Pedagogy: Language Education, Learner Autonomy, Vocational Education, Teacher Development, and Higher-Education Policy in Multilingual Contexts;

- Consumer and Sustainability Research: Supply-Chain Transparency, Consumer Trust, and Ethnocentrism in the Context of Global Trade and Social Responsibility.
Collectively, these contributions highlight the breadth, depth, and vitality of contemporary Chinese-language academic research in Southeast Asia. Each paper not only enriches theoretical understanding but also provides practical insights for educators, policymakers, and professionals across disciplines.
Looking ahead, CJSSM is pleased to announce that beginning in June 2025, the journal will open to English-language submissions. Accepted manuscripts will appear in Volume 10, Issue 1 (January-June 2026). This development represents an important milestone in expanding the journal’s international reach and fostering greater academic collaboration, while continuing to uphold its bilingual identity and scholarly excellence.
As CJSSM continues to expand its scholarly impact, we reaffirm our commitment to academic integrity, ethical publishing, and meaningful global engagement. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our authors, reviewers, and readers for their continued trust and support in making CJSSM a dynamic platform for impactful research and regional academic exchange.
