THE FACTORS INFLUENCING THE SATISFACTION OF CHINESE STUDENTS AND THE IMPACT ON DECISION MAKING: THE ANALYSIS OF PANYAPIWAT INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT
Main Article Content
Abstract
The globalization of the economy has stimulated the development of international education. With the rapid advancement of society, economic growth has accelerated accordingly. Understanding the reasons why Chinese international students choose to study in ASEAN countries, including Thailand, has become increasingly important. This study develops a conceptual model based on satisfaction factors influencing Chinese international students’ perceptions of Thai universities. Data were collected through a questionnaire survey administered to international students at the Zhengda School of Management. The responses were analyzed using Pearson correlation analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM) to validate the theoretical model. The results indicate that several dimensions—learning mechanisms, social and psychological conditions, daily living conditions, material and technological foundations for learning, and participation in scientific research activities—positively influence students’ behavioral decision-making.
