ความคิดเห็นของนักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทยที่มีต่อการจัดการการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมของเกาะเกร็ด จังหวัดนนทบุรี

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study opinion of Thai tourists towards cultural tourism management of Koh Kred, Nonthaburi province and 2) to compare opinion level of Thai tourists towards cultural tourism management of Koh Kred, Nonthaburi province classified by personal factors and travel behavior.  The questionnaires were distributed to 400 Thai tourists traveling to Koh Kred, Nonthaburi province, using convenience sampling method. Descriptive statistics, Independent t-test and One-Way ANOVA were used to analyze the data collected.

The results indicated that 1) Overall, the level of Thai tourists’ opinion towards cultural tourism management of Koh Kred, Nonthaburi province was high (Mean = 4.14, S.D.= 0.53).  When considering each aspect arranged in descending order of mean values, it was found that maintaining local way of life in terms of society and culture (Mean = 4.29, S.D.= 0.64) and creating tourists’ satisfaction aspect (Mean = 4.27, S.D.= 0.74) were at extremely high level, giving precedence to history archaeological site, arts and culture and traditions aspect (Mean = 4.14, S.D.= 0.58) was at high level, followed by preserving culture and environment (Mean = 4.13, S.D.= 0.62), tourists’ safety of life and property (Mean = 4.08, S.D.= 0.59), educating all stakeholders (Mean = 4.07, S.D.= 0.68), economic, social and environmental sustainable management (Mean = 4.06, S.D.= 0.62) and considering carrying capacity of area and its cleanliness (Mean = 4.04, S.D.= 0.71); 2) when classified by personal factors, it was found that Thai tourists with different age, marital status and average monthly income had different opinion levels towards cultural tourism management of Koh Kred, Nonthaburi province at a statistical significance level of 0.05; 3) when classified by travel behavior, it was found that Thai tourists with different purpose of travel, travel companion, source of travel information, and average spending had different opinion levels towards cultural tourism management of Koh Kred, Nonthaburi province at a statistical significance level of 0.05.
