Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the academic leadership level of school administrators, 2) to compare academic leadership of school administrators, based on the opinions of teachers classified by educational level, position and work experience and 3) to compile recommendations on academic leadership of school administrators. The sample group consisted of 372 school teachers under the Narathiwat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. Estimation questionnaire are used as the instrument. Schefe's method is applied to analyze statistical data such as percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test by one-way analysis of variance and double comparison.


             The results of independent research found that


  1. Academic Leadership Level of Educational Institution Administrators under the Narathiwat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 is overall at a high level.

  2. A Comparison of Academic Leadership of Educational Institution Administrators classified by educational level was found to be overall and each aspect statistically significant difference at the 0.01 level except for teaching supervision. Moreover, in the aspect of monitoring the progress of students there was a statistically insignificant difference in the opinion classified by location. Overall, the difference was not statistically significant. Classified by work experience as a whole and each aspect was not statistically different except for teaching supervision. There was a statistically significant difference at 0.01 level. The 2 categorized groups were teachers with less than 10 years of work experience and teachers with 10-20 years of work experience. Both group had different opinions

  3. The results of the conclusion recommended on academic leadership of educational institution administrators during pandemic under the Narathiwat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, are that administrators must be leaders and should have a deep understanding of school missions, curriculum and instruction administration, teaching supervision, monitoring student progress, promoting teaching and learning atmosphere. Leader should operate in a systematic manner, constantly and in accordance with the pandemic situation.
