The Study of Factors Affecting Knowledge and Understanding of the Laws by Factory Entrepreneurs Related to Factory or Machine Inspections Using Private Inspectors

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to: 1) study the level of knowledge and understanding of the laws by factory entrepreneurs related to factory or machine inspections using private inspectors according to factory laws in the area of Udon Thani province, and 2) study factors affecting knowledge and understanding of the laws by factory entrepreneurs related to factory or machine inspections using private inspectors according to factory laws in the area of Udon Thani province. The sample group used in this study is factory entrepreneurs in the area of Udon Thani province, there were 258 people. The tool used to collect data was a questionnaire. Statistics used in data analysis included mean, percentage, standard deviation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.

         The results of the research found that (1) knowledge and understanding of the laws by factory entrepreneurs Overall, it was at a moderate level (=3.19, S.D.=0.62) and (2) the factors that the researcher selected had a positive effect on knowledge and understanding of the laws by factory entrepreneurs. The predictive variable with the best predictive power is factors in corporate governance (X₁), followed by factors in public relations (X₂), and factors in officials and related agencies (X₃). These 3 predictive variables can explain the variance in knowledge and understanding of the laws by factory entrepreneurs was 71.4 percent and had a forecast error of ±0.336. A regression equation could be created: = 0.020 + 0.508(X₁) + 0.315(X₂) + 0.141(X₃)
