Manifestations of Religious Effects in Muslim Society in Lintan, China

Abstract

This research aims to identify religious customs and traditions and their impact on the Muslim community in Lintan Province and clarify the effects of differences between Islamic groups, The researcher's approach to the historical method of collecting information from relevant books and interviews with prominent Yintani figures,The results of this research are that Lintan Province has the season of four, and the nationalities in which they live: Han, Hui, Salar, Tibetan, Mongolia, Dongxiang, and the number of Muslims in Lintan is approximately 2500 families, and its current area is 1557.68 square kilometers.

This research has contributed to identifying the conditions, customs and traditions of religion in Lintan, and the groups affiliated with Islam are three: the Babis group (68%), the Muslim Brotherhood (22%), the Shidao Tang group, and the 10% Muslim Brotherhood. The impact of the three Islamic groups made the Muslim community divided into three sections, and each group has its own followers and influence, especially in the field of religion.
