Abstract

This research aims to clarify the vision of Al Rajhi Bank in contributing to develop the Saudi economy, the researcher relied on the historical retrieval approach and the descriptive analytical approach. First: Building a banking sector that fulfills customers’ needs and contributes to diversifying sources of income and financing in the human resources sector, relying on the Islamic system in all its banking transactions. Second: The bank was keen to play its social role in building relationships with individuals and small and medium-sized companies in order to create a rapidly developing banking environment using digital transactions. Third: The bank helped the government in agricultural development by taking advantage of its available resources to achieve economic benefit through self-sufficiency in production. Fourth: The bank contributed to planning the establishment of industrial projects in order to diversify the resources of the economy and national income. Fifth: The bank relied on the Kingdom's strategic location with the presence of religious, historical and archaeological sites to establish tourism investments that would lead to an increase in the state budget. Sixth: The bank sought to achieve women's visions, as they benefited from its services in establishing women's development projects that demonstrated their social role in contributing to increasing national income.
