The Relationship between Social Media Using And Fear of Missing out of University Students in Phitsanulok Province

Abstract
This study aimed to 1) study social media using of university students in Phitsanulok province 2) study fear of missing out of university students in Phitsanulok province 3) study the relationship between social media using and fear of missing out of university students in Phitsanulok Province. This research is a quantitative research. The samples were 375 students aged 20 years and above in the university. The instruments were questionnaires. Data analyzed by using statistics of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, chi-square, and the Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient. The result found that the samples had a moderate level of social media using (x ̅ = 4.29), a moderate level of fear of missing out ( x ̅ = 4.16). Besides, social media using was positively correlated to fear of missing out at the .01 level of significance (r =.750). Suggestion is there should be encouraging using social media appropriately.
