The Analysis of result from the 1st Thailand HR Innovation Award 2017

Abstract
Thailand HR Innovation Award 2017 was the first time event for Personal Management Association of Thailand collaborated with National Institute of Development Administration and Thailand Productivity Institute. The main objective of this event is to enhance the High Performance Organization with sustainability. Innovation is needed for human resource management since “People” is the key driver for organization development. This article has reviewed the critical processes of criteria development, application, selection and awarding with the intention to identify the opportunities for improvement in the next round of awarding process. From the process reviewing and related literature review, the 5 Is criteria (Initiative Level, Involvement Level, Implementation, Integration, and Impact) are adequate for reviewing the innovation in Strategic Human Resource Management. There are small revisions needed for improving the other process such as increasing two-way communication among the applicants in order to clarify the award criteria and also to educate the applicant how to develop the innovation HR in their organizations.
