In Buddhism, there are the principles supporting the ecological system in both of the biological and physical systems.Buddhism says that man is not the center of all things so thatother things have the right not to be destroyed by humans. Human beings should maintain, restore, conserve and be ecologically friendly. Thus, Buddhism offers the principles supporting the ecological system. There are seven principles in this matter: (1) mutual livelihood, (2) practical actions, (3) conservation, (4) reconstruction, (5) moral development, (6) mutual dependence (7) Dhamma conditions in the ecological system. As the Buddhasaid that“Monks, you shall mow down in the forest, but you shall not cut off the tree.”The tree which is one of the elements in ecosystem.
