ประสิทธิผลการบริหารการพัฒนามนุษย์หลังเข้าสู่ประชาคมอาเซียนของสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในสามจังหวัดชายแดนใต้/The Effectiveness of Human Development Administration after Joining ASEAN Community of Higher Education Institutions in the Three Southern Border Provinces

Abstract

             These quantitative research objectives were: (1) studying the conditions of participation on AEC’s programme and activities; (2) analyzing the effectiveness of human development administration; and (3) proposing the guidelines of human development administration after joining ASEAN Community of higher education institutions in three southern border provinces. Used a simple random sampling and collected data with questionnaires. The samples were total 1,219 students of 169 diploma Community College students at Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat, and 1,050 bachelor degree students at Mahachulalongkorn Rajavidyalaya University, Pattani Campus, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, Yala Rajabhat University, and Princess of Naradhiwas University. Descriptive statistics are the frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Inferential statistics by t-test, k-WAY ANOVA (k ≥ 3) and Least Significant Difference (LSD) were used to hypothesis test.

            The results showed that (1) most students are female. The average age is 22 years old. Most respect Islamic religious and domiciled in Pattani province. Most studied in Social Development, Economics major and attended to volunteer project and social development but had minimal student exchange programme which about 12.5% never activities participation. (2) The institutional competencies of human development administration of Community College and University were not much different. The global characteristic development and capabilities students had a high level, so the desirable values had acknowledgment stage. The resulted of the statistical hypothesis test showed that the institutional competency of human development administration, global characteristic development, and capabilities students do not dependent on the type of educational institutions. However, for the desirable values development does depend on the type of educational institutions at the statistical significance level of .05. (3) The guidelines of human development administration after joining ASEAN Community of higher educational institutions of Community Colleges should support more activities. While the University should establish new potential directions for gathering network on human development by collaborating integrated across with the proficiency of each University.
