บทคัดย่อ
บทความนี้นำเสนอแนวคิดทางปรัชญาญี่ปุ่นสมัยใหม่ของมิกิ คิโยะชิ จากมิติทางญาณวิทยา ซึ่งใช้สภาวะ ของจินตนาการเป็นแก่นสำคัญในการแก้ปัญหาทวิภาวะของเหตุผลและอารมณ์ที่เคยเกิดขึ้นในปรัชญาตะวันตก โดยอาศัยวิธีการสืบสอบผ่านข้อเสนอในปรัชญานิพนธ์ชิ้นสำคัญของเขา คือ ตรรกะแห่งจินตนาการ (ฉบับภาษาญี่ปุ่น) ซึ่งทำให้พบว่าจินตนาการคือกิจกรรมของจิตที่เป็นกลไกสำคัญในการเชื่อมโยงอัตวิสัยกับภววิสัยเข้าไว้ด้วยกันและ เป็นบ่อเกิดของความรู้ที่มาจากเอกภาพของอารมณ์และเหตุผล โดยเอกภาพดังกล่าวคือความเป็นจริงรูปธรรมที่ผสานโลกภายในและโลกภายนอกเข้าไว้ให้ดำรงอยู่ในฐานะชีวิตของปัจเจกที่มีส่วนในการจินตนาการถึงรูปลักษณ์ของสังคมไปพร้อม ๆ กับสังคมเองก็มีส่วนในการกำหนดจินตภาพแห่งตัวตนให้แก่ปัจเจก
