Strategic Management of Schools under Pathumthani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract

        The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the strategic management of schools, 2) to compare the strategic management by school size, and 3) to study the development guidelines of strategic management of schools under the Pathumthani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The samples were 309 school administrators and teachers by using the purposive Sampling technique. The instruments used for data gathering were questionnaire and in-depth interview, form. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, One-way ANOVA and content analysis.

        The research findings were that; 1) Overall and individual strategic management were at a moderate level, as follows: (1) budget management, (2) academic management, (3) personnel management, (4) general management, respectively. 2) There was no significant difference in strategic management among different school sizes. 3) Strategic management guideline development is composed of the following: the internal quality assurance cooperation enhancement procurement and everyone should be involved in, asset management etc.
