The Evaluation of Japanese Curriculum Implementation at Sarawittaya School, Bangkok Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2

This study aimed to 1) assess the suitability and adequacy of the inputs for implementing Japanese curriculum, 2) assess the suitability of the process for implementing Japanese curriculum and, 3) assess the achievement of the outcomes according to the objectives of the implementing Japanese Curriculum. The samples of this study consisted of the vice director of Academic Affair (administration), three high school Japanese teachers, and 117 Japanese language program students (Matthayomsuksa 4-6). The research instruments were the interview forms and the questionnaire. The statistics were mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
The results of the research revealed that 1) Input factors of Japanese curriculum implementation aspect was the school has recruited teachers who graduated in Japanese Major. Budget management for learning management for learners, the school has allocated both subsidies and school income. Cultural media is not enough for the needs of students. Facilities are enough for the needs of students. 2) The aspect of implementing process of curriculum showed that students’ individual differences effected to course outlines, teachers have adjusted their learning activities so they don't correspond with the course outlines and learning outcomes as the curriculum has set. Learning activities were adjusted and flexible with the students and context and assessments were suitable with the learning outcomes; therefore, the students, teachers, and school were successful and 3) the achievement of Japanese curriculum implementation has shown that Japanese program students have language skill to interact with teachers and friends. The students are confident in using Japanese. Teachers have been continuously developed knowledge and teaching and learning management. The Japanese curriculum is famous and acceptable for parents. The school receives awards that guarantee the achievement of Japanese curriculum implementation.
