Synthesis of Research on Excellence School Development for Sustainable

The purposes of this research were to study 1) the important factors for excellence school developing 2) the excellence school development model 3) the policy recommendation on excellence school development for sustainable. The research employed qualitative research with meta-ethnography methodology. The target groups included relevant 10 research reports published in the databases of Thai theses and research papers during the years 2009-2019. Data analysis employed content analysis by categorizing contents, linking them, find their relationship, interpreting, and creating conclusions. Research data were presented using descriptive writing style.
Findings of the study revealed as follows: 1) the important factors for excellence school developing were primary schools, secondary schools and university in Thailand during the years 2009 - 2019. The population was selected from 10 theses of master's degree and dissertation doctoral. The research instrument was consisted of synthesis research survey form. The data were collected by qualitative synthesis. The research results found that the important factors for excellence school developing consisted of (1) leaders are professional (2) leadership of administrators (3) teachers and educational personnel (4) focus instruction (5) focus child-center (6) strategy management (7) competency of human resource management (8) team work (9) school environment 2) the excellence school development model have 4 core components: (1) school management have 5 subcomponents as follows: (1.1) leadership of administrators (1.2) strategy planning (1.3) teachers and personnel development (1.4) service and community relation (1.5) information system development and innovative management (2) learning management have 3 subcomponents as follows: (2.1) focus students (2.2) knowledge (2.3) process arrangement (3) students quality development have 1 subcomponent as follows: international standards and (4) extra network management have 1 subcomponent as follows: network joint for education management which the each components have management process 4 steps: 1) planning 2) doing 3) checking 4) acting continuous and 3) the policy recommendation on excellence school development for sustainable as follows: (1) give important to excellent management, (2) school administrators must to knowledge, understand, skills and leadership for management (3) there is a development of concrete quality, focus participation, quality assurance system, development for learning management continuously (4) the management structure should be defined of teachers and personnel in school to be clear (5) school administrators must to striving and supporting seriously and continuously (6) create knowledge and understand to stakeholders (7) follow up periodically, continuous quality improvement to excellence standard efficiency and sustainability.
