Motivation Affecting the Decision to Work in Rojana Industrial Park 1, PhraNakhon Si Ayutthaya Province of Cambodian, Laos, and Myanmar Daily Worker

The objectives of this research are 1) to compare the working decision of daily workers, classified by personal factors: gender, age, status, nationality, education, average daily income, and duration of work, and 2) to study of motivation influencing the decision to choose to work in Rojana Industrial Estate 1 in PhraNakhon Si Ayutthaya province, of the Cambodian, Lao, and Myanmar daily workers. The data were collected from interviews of 20 people according to the proportion of factories in each phase in the Rojana Industrial Estate 1, PhraNakhon Si Ayutthaya province which were totaling 4 places and 5 people per place together with data collecting from questionnaires of 325 people with convenient sample selection. The obtain data were statistically analyzed by Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Multiple Regression Analysis.
The results of the research found that: Cambodian, Lao, and Myanmar daily workers focused on the motivations of the Cambodian, Lao, and Myanmar daily workers in Rojana Industrial Estate 1, PhraNakhon Si Ayutthaya province at a high level. The work compensation is the most important motivation, followed by the welfare, the job description, the respectfulness, safety in work, job advancement, the opportunities for future growth, and the job success, respectively. Demographic factors had no effect on decision-making and the eight motivating factors of deciding to choose daily work among Cambodian, Lao and Myanmar daily workers were found that there were 5 areas with statistical significance at .05 level: compensation that had the most influence on decision making, followed by welfare, job description, respectfulness, and opportunities for advancement, respectively.
