Audiobooks: fundamental instructional media for children with visual impairments

Children with visual impairments is one of the nine groups of disabilities in the Announcement of the Ministry of Education regarding the Specification of Categories and Criteria of Educationally Disabled People, B.E. 2552 according to the Education Provision for Persons with Disabilities Act, B.E. 2551. In case the impairment occurs in school-aged children, their perception and learning abilities will be affected. This article discusses audiobooks which are fundamental instructional media that allows children with visual impairments to access knowledge. We discussed with teachers and students with visual impairments to create understanding for further research.
