Service learning management: The student teachers development of Rajabhat University towords sustainable local development

Abstract

       This article aims to present the concept, related learning theories, service learning management model, service learning planning and design, service learning management process, guidelines for evaluation, service learning management for sustainable local development, as well as analysis and development guidelines for success in using them to develop student teachers.
      Service learning management is a learning method that is a form of learning using experience that focuses on allowing students to integrate academic learning with work in the community linked to the goals of the curriculum through three components: teachers, students, and communities.
It will help bringing knowledge gained from the classroom to application in the field and reflect on the results of what has been thought and done with value and meaning. Developing learning processes that lead to sustainability and challenge, service learning is therefore considered a learning management strategy that links knowledge to social service. Student teaching professional development is the heart of the production of good teachers, smart teachers, and social service. Rajabhat University must promote the characteristics of good teachers into society. It is an integration of knowledge, skills and desirable characteristics contained in the course that give students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills to jointly solving problems according to the needs of the community and reflect on experiences.
