Abstract

This study aims to examine the level of agile leadership among university administrators and the level of higher education mission administration. It also seeks to compare these levels from the perspective of faculty members based on gender, education level, academic discipline, and age. Furthermore, the study explores the relationship between agile leadership and higher education mission administration among administrators in Thai private universities. Samples consisted of 377 faculty members from private universities in Thailand. A questionnaire was used as the research instrument, and statistical analyses included mean, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson’s simple correlation moment product.

The findings revealed that: 1) the level of agile leadership among administrators in Thai private universities was high, 2) the level of higher education mission administration among these administrators was also high, 3) from the perspective of faculty members, there were no significant differences in Agile Leadership levels based on gender, education level, or age, 4) the level of higher education mission administration, as perceived by faculty members, did not differ significantly based on gender or education level, 5) there was a low overall correlation between agile leadership and higher education mission administration. However, when examining specific dimensions, it was found that the agility of administrators in responding to stakeholders had a high and statistically significant correlation with organizational administration (r = .712, p < .01).
