Abstract

The purpose of this essay is to analyze Sergio Leone's Italian film, A Fistful of Dollars. The film is regarded as a classic in the Spaghetti Western genre. By adopting its distinctive storytelling approach, the author claims that the film genuinely represents the history of World War II from an Italian perspective. Studying this film through the political history perspective will contribute to a better knowledge of Italian studies in various fields, including social, economic, political, and history.
