HERBAL LEARNING CENTER DESIGN TOWARD PHILOSOPHY OF SUFFICIENCY ECONOMY KHAOKHO PHETCHABUN

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the elements and factors suited for designing the herbal learning center toward the philosophy of sufficiency economy of Khao Kho, Phetchabun, 2) to study the concept of designing the herbal learning center toward the philosophy of sufficiency economy, and 3) to evaluate the opinion of people on design of the herbal learning center toward the philosophy of sufficiency economy. The samples were 10 representatives from the community in Khao Kho, Phetchabun and 5 experts. The research tools composed of unstructured interview form and the qquestionnaire.  Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, percentage (%), mean ( ), and standard deviation (S.D.)          The research found that:

1. The elements for designing the herbal learning center toward the

philosophy of sufficiency economy composed of administrative office, academic service section, herb treat and therapy section, section of analyse and support herbal treatment, research and development section, general service section, activity and recreation section, accommodation for trainee and tourists, and parking area.   

          2. The concept of designing on architectural and landscape toward the herbal learning center toward the philosophy of sufficiency economy was to use the way of life of Hmong tribe who lived in the area and the use of

philosophy of sufficiency economy.

            3.The opinion of experts on the design of the herbal learning center toward the philosophy of sufficiency economy was that the herbal learning center area could be used at the most level, the less was that the design was covered all of the section in the herbal learning center at the much level, and the design was accurate to the building control acts respectively.
