DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MANAGEMENT USING WORKPLACES LEARNING RESOURCES TO ENHANCE VOCATIONAL COMPETENCY FOR VOCATIONAL STUDENTS IN LOGISTICS MAJOR UNDER OFFICE OF VOCATTIONAL EDUCATION COMMISSION

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) develop learning management using workplacesresources and 2) propose guidelines for the development of learning managementfor Logistics major under Office of Vocational Education Commission. The research samplewas 550 people from 10 colleges, by purposive sampling.The instrument was questionnaire.The statistics used for percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test.

The findings of this research were:

1. The result of the development of learning management using the workplacesresources in 5 component; Planning, Awareness, Implementing, Monitoring, and Evaluation. There was before development at .05 level of significant. As follows, after development was at high level ( = 4.08, S.D. = 0.28) while before development was at moderatelevel ( = 2.94, S.D. = 0.29)

2. The guideline todevelopment of learning management for logistics major under Office of Vocational Education Commission should be Frist, cooperate between Government and Public-private to develop vocational education workforce in logistics career was at 51.82 percent. Second, the development of students to have skills and experience in the workplaces such as analysis thinking, teamwork, second language, emotional regulation, and information technology was at 50.91percent.  And emphasize practical teaching and learning management according to dual vocational education study planning was at 50.55 percent
