DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MANAGEMENT OF WELDING AND SHEET METAL COURSEUSING HANDOUTS AND ACTIVE LEARNING FOR DIPLOMA STUDENTS UNDER THE OFFICE OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION COMMISSION

Abstract
The research aimed to 1) develop learning management for Welding and Sheet Metal Course using handouts with active learning for diploma students under the Office of Vocational Education Commission, 2) study the effectiveness index of learning management for Welding and Sheet Metal Course using handouts with active learning for diploma students under the Office of Vocational Education Commission, 3) compare the learning achievement of the students who studied via learning management for Welding and Sheet Metal Course using handouts with active learning, and 4) evaluate the satisfaction of the students who studied via learning management for Welding and Sheet Metal Course using handouts with active learning. The target group was 17 diploma students majoring in Electric Power Department, Phichit Technical College. The research tools were learning achievement test and evaluation form of satisfaction. Data was statistically analyzed by mean, standard deviation and t-test for dependent samples. The research found as follows:
1) Learning management for Welding and Sheet Metal Course using handouts with active learning Handouts for diploma students under the Office of Vocational Education Commission apparently gained the efficiency at 81.90/81.03.
2) Effectiveness Index (E.I.) of learning management for Welding and Sheet Metal Course using handouts with active learning was 0.57.
3) The posttest score of learning achievement of the students was significantly higher than the pretest score at .05 level.
4) The satisfaction of the students who studied via learning management for Welding and Sheet Metal Course using handouts with active learning was at high level
