The learning process to promote citizenship Consciousness under the democratic way of the people of Nonthaburi Province

Abstract

         A research study with the objectives 1) To study the learning process to promote citizenship in accordance with the democratic way of the people in Nonthaburi Province, and 2) To present guidelines for the development of learning processes to promote citizenship in accordance with the democratic way of people in Nonthaburi Province. It is a qualitative research. Data were collected from 4 groups of key informants including those with expertise from educational institutions,  government agencies, people's sector leader, and from representatives of politicians by using specific techniques at a total of 17 people. Using the semi-structured interviews tool. Analyzing the data by using interpretations from the interviews. The results of the study found that :

          Learning process to promote citizenship in a democratic way consists of respecting the rules, everyone in the society must respect the rules of democracy, respect the laws, rules and regulations of the society. Respect for the rights of others in a democratic way of respecting human dignity and social responsibility Public mind must be a good example of society. have a public consciousness, cultivating morals and ethics Social Responsibility mean learning the rules of society, and political participation is the practice of actively solving social problems, and the exercise of free electoral rights which is a process of political participation and is the duty of citizens.        

          Guidelines for developing the learning process found that the law, rules, regulations of society or the law of the nation must be respected respect for human dignity that everyone is born of equal value and cannot be violated, freedom and equality by accepting everyone's differences. Cultivating morals and ethics social responsibility network in the that Community. Sharing personal happiness is beneficial to the public, and volunteer to help society including the exercise of voting rights in a free cultural way of the community, freedom to express political opinions and aiming to improve public life.
