Desirable characteristics of User requirements of Graduate in Master of Science program (Psychology), the faculty of education, Ramkhamhaeng University

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to study 1) Opinion of desirable characteristics and desirable characteristics outcome of graduate in Master of Science program (Psychology), the faculty of education, Ramkhamhaeng University. 2) Needs of User requirements on Desirable Characteristics of Master of Science program (Psychology) The sample consisted of 63 User requirements or employers of Graduate in Master of Science (Psychology), the faculty of education, Ramkhamhaeng University, and were selected by purposive sampling. The research instrument was questionnaires. Data were analyzed with frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

              The result showed that 1) the employers were the highest opinion on the desirable characteristics according to the Tertiary Qualifications Standard Framework (Mean = 4.53, SD = .148). When each aspect was considered, the ranking order. The moral and ethical characteristics (Mean = 4.74, SD = .351) and Interpersonal Skills and Responsibility (Mean = 4.60, SD = .435) were at the highest level of opinion, employers were desirable characteristics outcome of graduate (Psychology in overall aspect were high (Mean = 4.46, SD = .060). When considered individually, it was found that the competent person's ability (Mean = 4.53 SD = .497) was the highest level

2) employers commented on desirable traits as needed, it was found that graduates should have expertise in industrial and organizational psychology, and theory and skills in both individual and group counseling.
