Factors Influencing People’s decision to Use Solar Power Technology at Nonthaburi Province

Abstract

         This research aims to study perception and attitude to use solar power technology at Nonthaburi province, and factors influence people’s decision to use solar power technology at Nonthaburi province. This research was the survey research and collected data by questionnaires. The sample was one representative for each household, who the head of a household or spouse. In a case the head of household was not at home, will choose a member of family for a representative for each household and must be at least 18 years old. The research sampling was purposive sampling. The index of item-objective congruence (IOC) was 0.829 and 0.973reliability values. The results of the research found that the sample had perception about sola power technology at a high level ( = 4.192, S.D.= 0.500), the attitude at a high level ( = 3.131, S.D.= 0.597) and decision to use sola power technology at a high level ( = 3.822, S.D.= 0.636). The hypothesis testing revealed that the perception factors; sola power technology on perceived ease of use influence people’s decision to use sola power technology in Nonthaburi at significant of 0.05 level. The attitude did not influence significant the decision to use sola power technology.
