The study and function development for buildings around Phranakhon Rajabhat University BTS Station

Abstract

The study of Land use for developing areas within the university at the Phranakhon Rajabhat Station aims to 1) to study the potential of land use. The area within Phranakhon Rajabhat University to support the mass transit station 2) to present the concept of development of the university area in the area of Rajabhat Phranakhon Station which consists of plans, elevations, sections, exterior and interior perspectives and model also the relevant document which can be developed into a construction process in the future. As a result, the researchers studied six buildings in the area near Phranakhon Rajabhat Station by applied the university's strategy to the data obtained from the synthesis of questionnaires to develop the program requirements. The architectural design concepts that take into account as follows 1) maximize the potential of areas which can create adaptive reuse of building 2) flexible and multipurpose function 3) be in harmony with the original context 4) create the identity of building or landmark which is remembered by the witnesses and 5) energy-saving building by using natural light.
