การวิจัยเชิงสร้างสรรค์ศิลปะ กรณีศึกษา “การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานจิตรกรรมสื่อผสม : ความกลัวในวิถีชีวิต”

การทำวิจัยกับการสร้างสรรค์ศิลปะในมุมมองของคนส่วนใหญ่มักคิดว่าศาสตร์ทั้งสองศาสตร์นี้มีธรรมชาติที่ต่างกัน อย่างมาก ซึ่งจากความแตกต่างกันของทั้งสองศาสตร์นี้ ในช่วง 2-3 ทศวรรษที่ผ่านมาในต่างประเทศและในประเทศไทยมี การถก ประเด็นการวิจัยกับการสร้างสรรค์ศิลปะอย่างกว้างขวาง สาระสำคัญของการถกเถียงกัน คือ ความเป็นวิชาการของการ ปฏิบัติการและทฤษฎีทางทัศนศิลป์ รวมทั้งความเข้าใจเรื่องการวิจัยในการปฏิบัติการทางศิลปะ ซึ่งสามารถสรุปออกมาเป็น 3 ประเด็นใหญ่ คือ 1) การปฏิบัติการสร้างสรรค์ศิลปะถือว่าเป็นการวิจัยในตัวเองอยู่แล้ว 2) การสร้างสรรค์มีลักษณะที่สามารถ เทียบเคียงกับงานวิจัยได้ และ 3) การปฏิบัติการทางศิลปะไม่มีทางที่จะเป็นการวิจัยได้ ซึ่งผู้เขียนเชื่อว่า การปฏิบัติการ สร้างสรรค์ศิลปะถือว่าเป็นการวิจัยในตัวเองอยู่แล้ว จึงได้นำมาใช้ในการวิจัยเชิงสร้างสรรค์ศิลปะ เรื่อง จิตรกรรมสื่อผสม : ความ กลัวในวิถีชีวิต ในการศึกษาระดับดุษฏีบัณฑิต คณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย โดยพยายามบันทึก กระบวนการ สร้างสรรค์ทุกขั้นตอน แล้ววิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์ เพื่อสื่อสารผลจากการสร้างสรรค์ศิลปะ ซึ่งพบว่า การปฏิบัติการ สร้างสรรค์ ศิลปะมีองค์ประกอบเช่นเดียวกับกระบวนการวิจัยทุกประการ เพียงแต่ผู้สร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะมิได้บันทึกขั้นตอน และ กระบวนการสร้างสรรค์อย่างเป็นระบบและระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเท่านั้น

Art Creative Research Case Study Painting Mixed Media : Fear in the Way of Life.

Summary

Research and art creation in most people’s perspective are absolutely different in the nature of discipline. Over the last 2-3 decades the differences of these two disciplines have been widely discussed internationally and in Thailand. The significant of discussion issues are the academic approaches of practice and theory of the visual arts, and the understanding of research in art workshop. These can be summarized into three main points: 1) the creation of art in itself constitutes research, 2) the creation of art has characteristic that can be comparable to research, and 3) the art practice is not research. The researcher believes that creative art practice in itself constitutes research. So that it is applied to art creative research of painting mixed media: Fear in the way of life in doctoral degree, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University by trying to record the creative process in every steps, analysis, and synthesis in order to communicate results of the creative arts. The researcher found that the elements of creative art practice are the same as the research process in all respects. However, some artists do not record the art creation process in a systematic way according to the research method.
