โครงการศึกษาและพัฒนากระบวนการใช้ประโยชน์จากตอยูคาลิปตัส เพื่อประยุกต์ใช้ในการออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ชุมชน

Abstract

ในการศึกษาวิจัยในครั้งนี้นั้นผู้วิจัยได้ทำการกำหนดวัตถุประสงค์ในการวิจัย 4 ประการ ดังนี้ 1) ศึกษาลักษณะทางกายภาพ
และคุณลักษณะจำเพาะของยูคาลิปตัส 2) พัฒนากระบวนการใช้ประโยชน์จากตอยูคาลิปตัส 3) พัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ชุมชนจากตอยูคา
ลิปตัส 4) ประเมินค่าความพึงพอใจผู้บริโภค ต่อผลิตภัณฑ์จากตอยูคาลิปตัสที่พัฒนาใหม่ โดยผู้วิจัยได้ทำการศึกษาและพัฒนา
กระบวนการใช้ประโยชน์จากตอยูคาลิปตัส และทำการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากผู้บริโภค ด้านความพึงพอใจที่มีต่อผลิตภัณฑ์จากตอยูคา
ลิปตัสที่พัฒนาใหม่ จากการวิจัย ลักษณะทางกายภาพ และคุณลักษณะจำเพาะของยูคาลิปตัสนั้นหลังจากที่ทำการเก็บเกี่ยวผลผลิต
จะมีการถอนตอทิ้งในทุกๆ 12 ปี เป็นกระบวนการกำจัดตอที่สร้างมลพิษให้กับสิ่งแวดล้อม และภาระให้กับเกษตรกรเป็นอย่างมาก
โดยการสร้างทางออกให้กับปัญหาดังกล่าว คือ พัฒนากระบวนการใช้ประโยชน์จากตอยูคาลิปตัส จากเดิมที่นำไปทำฟืน หรือเผาทิ้ง
โดยเปล่าประโยชน์ ได้ทำการนำมาคัดแยกส่วนประกอบต่างๆ ตามขนาด แล้วพัฒนาเป็นชิ้นไม้ที่สามารถใช้ได้ในเชิงอุตสาหกรรม แบ่ง
ออกเป็น 1) ชิ้นไม้แบบวง 2) ชิ้นไม้แบบท่อน 3) ชิ้นไม้อัด ในการพัฒนาชิ้นไม้อัดได้กาวที่เหมาะสมต่อการอัดขึ้นรูป คือ กาวผง โดยขี้
เลื่อยแบบละเอียด มีอัตราการผสมอยู่ที่กาวผง 4/8 ส่วน ต่อขี้เลื่อยละเอียด 1 ส่วน และขี้เลื่อยแบบหยาบ มีอัตราการผสมอยู่ที่กาวผง
3/8 ส่วน ต่อขี้เลื่อยหยาบ 1 ส่วน โดยมีความทนทาน และมีสีสันที่สวยงาม นำชิ้นไม้ที่ได้มาพัฒนาเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ชุมชนจากตอยูคา
ลิปตัส ประเภทของฝาก โดยได้รูปแบบมากจาก แมวสีสวาด เป็นรูปแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ที่มีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะถิ่น สื่อถึงจังหวัดนครราชสีมา
ผลิตภัณฑ์ข้างเคียงมีน้อย มีความแปลกใหม่และสะดุดตา
จากการวิเคราะห์การประเมินค่าความพึงพอใจของผู้บริโภค ต่อผลิตภัณฑ์จากตอยูคาลิปตัสที่พัฒนาใหม่ จากกลุ่มตัวอย่างผู้
ที่เข้าร่วมงานแสดงสินค้า OTOP ที่ห้างสรรพสินค้าเดอะมอลล์ สาขานครราชสีมา มีค่าเฉลี่ยที่ระดับ 4.26 มีความเหมาะสมในระดับดี

The purposes of this research consisted of 1) studying physical characteristics and specification of
Eucalyptus, 2) developing process of utilizing Eucalyptus, 3) developing local products from Eucalyptus stumps,
and 4) evaluating satisfaction of consumers on new developed products made from Eucalyptus stumps. The
researcher studied and developed process of utilizing Eucalyptus stumps and gathered data from consumers
about their satisfaction on new developed products made from Eucalyptus stumps. In terms of physical
characteristics and specification of Eucalyptus, stumps would be root out in every 12 years after harvesting. This 

process increased pollution to environment and caused work load to farmers. The solution of this problem was
to develop process of utilizing Eucalyptus stumps instead of burning them or making firewood. The stumps
could be sorted out based on various sizes and developed for industrial use, covering 1) circle wood 2), pieces
of wood, and 3) plywood. For plywood, suitable extrusion used plastic resin glue mixed with powered sawdust
at 4:8 and 1 and plastic resin glue mixed with rough sawdust at 3:8 and 1. The wood would become durable
and colorful and be ready for developing as souvenirs. This concept was inspired from Si-Sawat cat, the unique
pet of Nakhon Ratchasima. The products were also unique, strange, and noticeable. When evaluating
satisfaction on the products of consumers who participated in OTOP Show at the Mall, Nakhon Ratchasima,
their satisfaction was averagely 4.26, ranking a good level.
