An Application of Sappurisa-Dhamma for the Development of Administrative Competence of Local Governors in Bangplama District, Suphanburi Province

Abstract

The study consisted of the following objectives: 1) to investigate the administrative competence of local governors 2) to compare an application of Sappurisa-dhamma for the development of administrative competence of local governors and 3) to explore an application of Sappurisa-dhamma for the development of administrative competence of local governors by using mixed-methods research, with quantitative data acquired from 359 people and qualitative data collected from 9 people.

             From the study, the following results are found:1) An application of Sappurisa-dhamma for the development of administrative competence of local governors is overall at a high level 2) The level of administration of local governors is overall at a high level 3) To comparing an application of Sappurisa-dhamma for the development of administrative competence of local governors classified by personal factors, it is discovered that people of different genders, ages, occupations, and incomes have no difference regarding their participation in community development People of different educational levels.4) The guidelines for promoting morality based on Sappurisa-dhamma for the development of administrative competence of local governors are as follows: (1) On governance and keeping order, village and subdistrict headmen, as well as the committee, solve problems by first investigating the main reasons, (2) On career development and promotion, village and subdistrict headmen understand what their communities lack and require. (3) On the conservation of natural resources and the environment, villager and subdistrict headmen conduct regular campaigns to provide villagers with knowledge and understanding of natural resources.
