Designing Heavy and Oversized Cargo Logistics Process Based on APQC Process of Delivery Physical Products

Abstract
The algorithmic processes of the logistics of transporting heavyweight and oversized cargo has been proposed for transporting 100-ton power transformers from Bangkok to provincial locations. In order to improve the transportation process, the American Productivity Quality Center Process Classification Framework, Category 4.0 version 7.0.4 , deliver physical products, is used as the standard procedures to be benchmarked by gap analysis. We found that only HOCTA contains only 18% of APQC PCF Cat 4.0 version 7.0.4 processes. Based on the gap analysis, we then proposed to merge 32 % of the relevant processes from APQC into HOCTA and restructure the HOCTA processes using process classification framework
