The objectives of this research were: (1) To examine the level of good governance of the school administrators and organizational commitment of the teachers under Office of Basic Education Commission, Faculty of Education, (2) To examine the level of organizational commitment of the teachers under the Office of Basic Education Commission, Faculty of Education, and (3) To investigate the relationship between good governance of the school administrators and organizational commitment of the teachers under the Office of Basic Education Commission, Faculty of Education.

This research was a survey research. The populations were 388 teachers of the schools under the Office of Basic Education Commission, Faculty of Education. By using Krejcie and Morgan’s sample size determination table and simple random sampling, the researcher selected the sample, 196 teachers of the school the Office of Basic Education Commission, Faculty of Education.  The research procedure was comprised of 4 stages which were: (1) Determining population and sample of the research, (2) Constructing research instrument, (3) Collecting data, and (4) Analyzing collected data.  The instrument used for collecting the data was a 5-level rating questionnaire. The statistics used for analyzing the collected data were frequency, percent, mean, standard and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficients.

The major research findings were as follows: (1) The level of good governance of the school administrators and organizational commitment of the teachers under Office of Basic Education Commission, Faculty of Education was high in whole and in part. The listed mean scores in order from the highest to the lowest included responsibility, rule of law, morality, transparency, cost-effectiveness and participation respectively, (2) The level of organizational commitment of the teachers under the Office of Basic Education Commission, Faculty of Education was high in whole and in part. The listed mean scores in order from the highest to the lowest included attention and devotion, loyalty to organization, and faith and recognition, and (3) The good governance of the school administrators positively correlated with the organizational commitment of the teachers under the Office of Basic Education Commission, Faculty of Education in whole and in part at the .01 level of significance.
