Learning Outcomes of Remote-Learning under Situation of the COVID-19 Outbreak by Online Meeting on Digital Literacy Subject at the Faculty of Education and Educational Innovation, Kalasin University

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the learning outcomes of remote-learning under situation of the COVID-19 outbreak by online meeting on digital literacy subject 2) study the satisfaction of students towards remote-learning under the situation of the COVID-19 outbreak by online meeting on digital literacy subject and 3) compare satisfaction towards remote-learning under the situation of the COVID-19 outbreak by online meeting on digital literacy subject classified by gender. The sample of this research consisted of 28 first-year section 1 in Thai major students, Faculty of Education and Educational Innovations Kalasin University, selected by cluster random sampling. The research tools were: 1) an achievement test and 2) a satisfaction questionnaire. The research statistics used were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test (dependent Samples), and t-test (Independent Samples).
The findings of the study were as follows: 1) the learning outcomes of remote-learning under situation of the COVID-19 outbreak by online meeting on digital literacy subject in the aspect of knowledge, their achievement of the learner after learning were higher than before learning at a significance level of 0.05 and in the skills aspect, the students passed their practice criteria at 100 which was higher than the assigned criteria (80 percentage) ;2) the satisfaction of students towards remote-learning under the situation of the COVID-19 outbreak by online meeting on digital literacy subject was at a high level ( = 4.01, S.D.= 0.04) ;and 3) the satisfaction towards remote-learning under the situation of the COVID-19 outbreak by online meeting on digital literacy subject classified by gender was learning at a significance level of 0.05.
