Abstract
This research aims to 1) study and analyze the information system models for research output and innovation of Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University 2) develop the information System on Research Output and Innovation of Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University and 3) experiment and evaluate the use of the information System on Research Output and Innovation of Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University. The research samples consist of 3 groups as follows: (1) operational staff in the Research Development and Dissemination, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, totaling 5 persons (2) content and system correctness verification experts, totaling 3 persons and (3) Research and Development Institute personnel, university administrators, and other organization staff, totaling 30 persons. The data collection tools included interview and evaluation forms for the Information System on Research Output and Innovation of Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University. The statistics used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation for quantitative data, and content analysis for qualitative data.
The research findings were as follows: 1) the suitable information system model should cover responsibilities by utilizing computer technology as a tool via an online system accessible anytime, responding to various user needs and swiftly addressing performance indicators within the research dissemination operations 2) the Information System on Research Output and Innovation of Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University developed employs PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and MySQL as its database management system and 3) the evaluation results revealed a well-designed and efficient system operation beneficial to agencies utilizing the data, with high users’ satisfaction towards the Information System on Research Output and Innovation of Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University.
