Generating people’s participation and accountability of the government in Thailand: cultural impact of power distance

This article aimed to show cultural impact of power distance in Thailand towards generating people’s participation and accountability of the government by pointing that attitude factors such as value and culture have an effect on the success of policies not less than changes in structural factors such as institutional and legal structures. Comparison of changes in generating people’s participation and accountability of Thailand and United States of America was made and national cultural impact on the ongoing outcome was presented.
