Abstract

This research aimed to 1) compares the operational efficiency of small and medium enterprises in the rubber wood business in Songkhla province that classify accordingly to the entrepreneur’s general information. 2) To study the marketing mix, competitive factor, and other supporting factors that affected the operational efficiency of small and medium enterprises in th rubber wood business in Songkhla province. Samples were 385 small and medium enterprise entrepreneurs in the rubber wood business from seven districts, Chana, Rattaphum, Sabayoy, Nathawee, Thepa, Hatyai, and Sadao in Songkhla. During the data analysis, frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation, t-Test F-Test with One-Way ANOVA, and Multiple Regression Analysis were applied.  

            The result revealed that the samples who differ in gender, authorized capital, and location of the business reflected a different level of notion toward the operational efficiency of small and medium enterprises in rubber wood business in Songkhla province as the statistically significant level at .05. Apart from this, the price factor in the marketing mix, competitive factors in the rubber wood business, and the competitive factors of the new entrants positively (43.7%) affected the operational efficiency of small and medium enterprises in the rubber wood business in Songkhla.
