การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการประเมินผลตอบแทนทางสังคมจากการลงทุนสำหรับโครงการพัฒนานวัตกรรมจากกัญชงบนฐานทุนทางวัฒนธรรมของชาติพันธุ์ม้ง อำเภอพบพระ จังหวัดตาก ประชากรเป็นกลุ่มผู้มีส่วนได้เสียของโครงการได้แก่ ปราชญ์ชาวบ้าน กลุ่มผู้ประกอบการกัญชง กลุ่มนวัตกรชุมชนในช่วงอายุต่าง ๆ ตัวแทนองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลคีรีราษฎร์ พัฒนาชุมชนจังหวัดตากและพัฒนาชุมชนพบพระ การกำหนดขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยใช้วิธีการเลือกตัวอย่าง โดยเริ่มต้นด้วยเทคนิคการกำหนดระบบโควตา จำนวน 31 คน ใช้เทคนิคสุ่มเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยวิธีการสุ่มโดยใช้ความสะดวกและวิธีการเลือกแบบเจาะจง โดยต้องสมัครใจในการให้ข้อมูลและเข้าร่วมโครงการ โดยการวิเคราะห์แผนที่ผลลัพธ์ ประกอบด้วยการประเมินปัจจัยนำเข้า กิจกรรม ผลผลิต และหาข้อสรุปเป็นผลลัพธ์ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลผลลัพธ์ส่วนเกินโดยให้คำนวณค่าน้ำหนักการเปลี่ยนแปลงของกิจกรรมที่เกิดขึ้น (Deadweight) ปัจจัยสนับสนุนอื่นที่มีผลกระทบต่อผลสัมฤทธิ์(Attribution) และอัตราการลดลงหรือคงที่ของผลสัมฤทธิ์ (Drop-off) แล้วหามูลค่าตัวแทนทางการเงิน (Financial Proxy) ของผลลัพธ์ที่แท้จริงเพื่อคำนวณอัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนทางสังคมจากการลงทุน (SROI) ของโครงการฯ มูลค่าการลงทุนในการดำเนินโครงการ (Input) เท่ากับ 5,183,082.86 บาท มูลค่าผลลัพธ์การลงทุนทั้งสิ้น เท่ากับ 4,824,804.06 บาท มูลค่าผลลัพธ์สุทธิ (SROI) เท่ากับ 3.22 บาท ทั้งนี้ทุก 1 บาท ที่ลงทุนในโครงการฯสามารถสร้างประโยชน์ทางสังคมด้วยมูลค่า 3.22 บาท สรุปได้ว่า โครงการฯ สร้างคุณค่าที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อสังคมและมีความคุ้มค่าต่อการลงทุนในงบประมาณที่ดำเนินการ
