Focus and Scope

The Economics and Public Policy Journal of Srinakharinwirot University aims to serve as a central hub for academic exchange in the fields of economics, public policy, and related disciplines. Its objectives include disseminating academic and research works from faculty, students, and scholars across various educational institutions, both public and private sectors. The journal welcomes submissions in the form of research articles and academic articles.

The scope of accepted articles includes, but is not limited to, the following branches:

1. Various branches of economics, such as financial and fiscal economics, public economics, international economics, managerial economics, business economics, industrial economics, environmental economics, health economics, behavioral economics, and experimental economics.
2.  Interdisciplinary branches that can be integrated with economics and public policy, such as marketing, public health, development, education, human resource management, communication, tourism, and service management.
3. Other branches deemed relevant by the editorial board that align with the journal's objectives and content scope.

 

Peer Review Process

Submitted articles undergo a rigorous peer review process involving the following steps:

1.  Preliminary review by the editorial board to assess the alignment of the content with the journal's objectives and scope.
2. If the article passes the initial review, it is sent to qualified reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The peer review process is double-blinded to ensure unbiased evaluation. Three reviewers assess the quality of the article based on academic standards and determine whether it is suitable for publication in the journal.

 

Types of Articles

The journal accepts two types of articles:

1. ) Research Article: Original research contributions.
2. ) Academic Article: Scholarly articles contributing to the academic discourse.

Language : Thai, English

 

Publication Frequency

The journal is published biannually, with 2 issues per year:

1. ) January - June
2. ) July - December

(The journal does not charge a fee for publishing articles.)

 

Open Access Policy

The journal follows an open access policy, providing immediate access to its content. This approach aims to facilitate the global exchange of knowledge by making research freely available to the public.
