The publication ethics in the e-Journal of Education Studies, Burapha University (Online ISSN: 2697-3863) are determined based on roles and responsibilities as follows: 

 

Roles and Responsibilities of Authors

(1) Authors must certify that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere.

(2) Authors must not plagiarize, and it is the authors’ responsibilities to include complete the reference list at the end of the manuscript.

(3) For the original research article, authors must present information with integrity, and they must not misrepresent information.

(4) Authors listed in the manuscript must genuinely contribute to the manuscript.

(5) Manuscripts must follow the journal guidelines of format, and authors must specify support grant clearly.

 

Roles and Responsibilities of Editors

(1) Editors should ensure the quality of manuscripts being published, maintain the integrity of peer review process by considering reviewers’ expert comments, and certify the quality of academic work published in the journal.

(2) Editors systematically examine duplication and plagiarism in submitted manuscripts using the CopyCatch system. If plagiarism exceeding 20% is detected during the process, editors must immediately halt the review and reject the manuscript for publication.

(3) Editors must not reveal confidential information of authors, reviewers, and content in the manuscripts to others who are not involved in the review process.

(4) Editors must select the manuscript to be published based on academic quality. Editors must not have conflict of interests with authors and reviewers, and they must not take the manuscript for commercial purposes.

(5) Editors must maintain the quality of the journal and constantly improve the journal.

 

Roles and Responsibilities of Reviewers

(1) Reviewers must not reveal confidential information in the manuscripts to others.

(2) If reviewers have conflict of interests, they must inform the editors immediately.

(3) Reviewers must consider the manuscript based on academic principles and integrity by using their expertise without imposing biases and personal reasons.

(4) If reviewers find that the manuscripts contain plagiarism or misrepresent information, they must inform the editors immediately.

(5) Reviewers should consider the manuscript within the timeframe requested by the editors.

(6) Reviewers must not seek benefits from the manuscripts they review.
