Parrotfish is a natural tool for restoring coral reefs and
the marine ecosystem. At present, parrotfish is caught for more consumption but breeding parrotfish is still difficult. This may result in
a rapid decline in parrotfish populations. Therefore, it is appropriate
to set policy including law enforcement with public participations
to ensure that Thai marine resources are systematically managed and maintained for the years to come.
