The Model Knowledge Management to Produce Organic Rice for Food Safety

Abstract
The objective of this research is to study the model knowledge management
to produce organic rice for food safety. To gain the important information from individuals and community organizations, there were 20 people chosen purposive samplings. The samples included 5 heads of the group, 5 deputy heads of the group, and 2 committees from each group. The focus group
participants were 20 farmers who grow organic rice in Baan Nhong Kong Moo 2, Phosrisuwan Sub-district, Sisaket Province. The strategy evaluation was examined for their appropriateness and possibility by 18 experts. The data was collected by using semi-structured interview, observation, assessment form concerning the appropriation and feasibility model. Statistics were used for the data analysis including mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The findings of this study indicated that the model knowledge management to produce organic rice for food safety consists of 5 components: 1) Principle – to promote and strengthen in knowledge management model for organic rice
production 2) Objective – to develop and enhance ability of famers in knowledge
management model for organic rice production 3) Knowledge management process – to exchange experiences, build knowledge, pass on knowledge, applied knowledge, and hand-on 4) Condition for key success–to enhance leadership for organizational culture and technology 5) Strategy evaluation of the model– to evaluate appropriateness and possibility of the model. The results of the study were high appropriateness and possibility. Additionally, satisfaction with the model was high.
