The Development Of Learning Observation Model For The Internal Supervision In Basic Education School

Abstract
The purposes of the study were 1) to study the problems and needs of the teachers’ teaching performance in basic education schools.The sample of 756 school administrators and teachers 2) to develop the teaching observation tool for the internal supervision of schools by the 7 experts 3) to try out of using the tool 4) to assess the tool from the gained data of 60 purposely selected school administrators and teachers of 3 schools. The research tool were : 1) the problems and needs assessment questionnaire 2) the tool validity questionnaire 3) the test 4) the skill assessment 5) the attitude test 6) the efficiency of the tool assessment. The gained data were analyzed through percentage, mean, standard deviation, median, and t test.Findings; 1) The teachers were overall found high unable to perform their teaching observation of their physical contexts, the teachers’ teaching performance, the students’ behaviors and the classroom learning atmosphere. The teachers also need to develop on the
4 learning observation types was high. 2) The Learning Observation
Development Model was comprised of 7 components 1) the principle
2) the objectives 3) the 4 topics of the observation 4) the development of
observers 5) The POEK participatory observation of learning included :
(1) the participatory planning (2) the observation (3) the assessment and reflection
(4) the knowledge sharing (5) the observation tool 6) the observers and teachers, the instruction manual of the learning observation tool and the development manual were found highly appropriated.3) The tryout and assessment of the teaching observation tool was found that the internal supervision of schools gained knowledge, understanding, skills and attitude towards the learning observation higher after the development at statistical significant of .01.
4) The assessment of the use of the tool, the possibility, the appropriateness,
the accuracy and the usefulness were overall found high. The internal school supervisors were highly satisfied with the Learning Observation Development Model.
