University Role Model for Developing the Locality: Rajabhat University in Northeastern Thailand

Abstract

This research aimed 1) to study the main and sub components including indicator of the university role for developing the locality, 2) to establish and confirm the university role model for developing the locality, and to evaluate the University role model for developing the locality. This was held on Rajabhat University in Northeastern, Thailand. The research data were 1) documentary; concepts, theories and research, 2) the expertise in University for 6 persons, 3) Personnel working at University for 500 persons; High executive, middle executive and lecturer, and the expertise do evaluate the model for 20 persons; Rector, Vice Rector and lecturer. The data were the document, the interview and the questionnaire. The qualitative data was analyzed by content analysis and the quantitative data used Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard deviation, Median, Interquartile Range and Confirm Factoring Analysis (CFA) to analyze. The research results were found; the university role model for developing the locality, Rajabhat University in Northeast Thailand were; 8 main components, 49 sub components and 263 indicators.
