Thai Higher Education: The Changes toward ASEAN Community

Abstract

The sufficiency of Thai students are purposed to the rapid changing in the world; thus, the consequence of this is Education of Thai students and standard of the Education in Thailand cannot gear up to modernization. From this, it is necessary to review and rethink what happened by analysis Thai
curriculum, to consider the way to develop Thai Education, and to plan the
future of Thai education. There should be the relation between the potentiality of
development and the education of Thai context. Thai Education Development have to start the feeling of responsibility. The education personnel should base on the needs of learner not the needs of education institutions. The
long-term education needs the cooperation from the entire relating organizations.
The changing of Thai Education system must focus on the long-term education of the personnel in and out organization. The learners can study efficiently to the entire of life in order to build the long-term development. The educational policy simply has the beginning and the ending like the other activities as it is called the public procedure policy or policy stages. The main procedures are categorized into four steps: policy plan, policy application, policy evaluation, and policy of the reflection.
