Performance Factors Influencing the Personnel’s Participation in Educational Assurance of Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University

Abstract

The purpose of this research was two-fold: to study the performance factors that influenced the personnel’s participation in the educational assurance at UbonRatchathaniRajabhat University and to compare the personnel’s participation as perceived by the personnel who were different in gender, age, income, marital status, type of personnel, education, and length of service. The sample group consisted of 300 personnel selected by means of the proportionate stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire to elicit the respondents’opinion about their participation in the educational assurance. The quality of the instrument was test using IOC and reliability testing. The collected data were analyzed using frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, multiple regression analysis, t-test, and F-test. The findings were as follows: 1) The performance factors found to affect the personnel’s participation in educational assurance at the significant level of .01 were attitude, organizational atmosphere, and motivation. Two factors – motivation and organizational atmosphere - together were able to be used to predict the participation at the accuracy rate of 42 percent. 2) There was no significant difference in the opinions of those who were different ingender, income, type of personnel, and length of service. Those who were different in age, marital status, and education had significantly different opinions regarding the motivation at the level of .01. Those who were different in marital status also had different opinions
regarding the organizational atmosphere at the significant level of .05.
