Narative of Royal Temple in Ubon Ratchathani Wat Si-Ubonrattanaram: The Increase of Cultural Asset to Enhance Tourism Value

Abstract
The research aimed to compile and collect the narative, knowledge sources and explanation concerning the ancient shrines and objects, culture and traditions in the royal monasteries in the province of Ubon Ratchathani. The monasteries in question was Wat Si-ubonrattanaram. The research was based on the methods used in humanities and social sciences and folklore. The research results were presented in a descriptive method. The research finding was categorized into three headings. 1) The section was concerned with the history of the monasteries in the study, names of the ancient shrines and objects, the history of the elder Buddhist monks who played a vital part in building the monasteries and educational place therein. 2) The section dealt with the ancient objects and material arts, 3) The last section explained beliefs, culture, rituals and traditions of various types. The traditions and customs had been practiced and passed on for generations. It is very important for the present generation to be aware and appreciate these traditions so that they try as best as they can to carry on.
