Abstract
The objectives of this study were 1) to study the current condition of Khok-Salung Sub-district Community Welfare Fund 2) to study guidelines for Khok-Salung Sub-district Community Welfare Fund, Phatthana Nikhom district, Lopburi province. The sample groups consisted of 60representatives of Community Welfare Fund in Khok-Salung subdistrict, 6 of the community leaders which are subdistrict headmen and village headmen, and 5 of the involved people with purposive sampling. The research instruments were participant observation, in-depth interview, and focus group discussion. The data analyses were showed on content analysis. The study found that 1) Khok-Salung Sub-district Community Welfare Fund was set up to support the members of the fund by managing the welfare covered from birth to death which the members need to save up 1 Baht per day. Managing the welfare covered from birth to death is the welfare of the child’s birth, health welfare, welfare after death, and welfare if they go into hospital. 2) Sustainable Khok-Salung Sub-district Community Welfare Fund Development Plan has 3 strategies: (1) the strategy to support Community Welfare Fund management which has 2 ongoing activities. They are a potential development in the management of the fund committee, and a supplement in managing knowledge and developing community welfare innovation. ; (2) The strategy to support the strength of community welfare system which has 2 ongoing activities. They are Khok-Salung Community Welfare Fund public relations, and The Intimate Welfare Fund with Community Activity. ; (3) The strategy to support local community welfare development which has 3 ongoing activities. They are the survey of needs in welfare management, the study trips, and Community Funeral Fund Development, and Recycle Waste Bank Project.
