The Literary strategies and otherness images of poetry of Angcan Chantathip.

Abstract

The objective of this article is to study the methods of the otherness and the presentation of the images in the poetry of Martian Chantathip. There are 3 aspects which are: 1) The method of picking words is the selection of words in different ways to compose poetry such as repetition of words, onomatopoeia, use of synonyms and using slang. 2) That caused the melody The rhythmic rhythm is inviting to read and the meaning is deep 3) Strategies for using rhetoric, such as metaphor, personification, reference and symbolism. In the issue of 

presentation of the Otherness in Mars Chantathip's poetry, it was found that there are 3 other aspects of the picture, namely: 1) State power and the process of making minorities others is the use of power to make people collide in their own context. 2) Multicultural society and otherness images such as the difference between languages, religion and culture; causing different circumstances, different people. 3) Marginalized and otherness images ; even though  it’s not someone else. The study of Literary strategies and otherness images of poetry of Angcan Chantathip; it’s just an analysis of social phenomena; to see the important of trivial person in Thai society.
