Creation of innovation in Isan folk dance creations, Isan sound art set

Abstract

The research aimed to create an innovation on Isan folkdance in Isan art style. The
research instruments were an inerview, documentary works, information media and a
creator’s personal experience. The research found that the idea to create a new version of
the performing art from an Isan folkdance aimed to promote and preserve the folk dance
of Isan culture. The outcome could be useufl to learning and teaching purposes,
continuation and inheritance of the performing arts. Besides, it could be an inspiration to
creating a new version of Isan folkdance. The creator of the work had applied the ideas of
Dr. Sutin Klangsaeng to an applied Isan folkdance.
