Development Process of Border Patrol Police School Administration Based on Buddhist Education Administration

Abstract
The objectives of this research were: 1. to study status of target
education administration of the Border Patrol Police schools, 2. to study
Buddhist education administration principles, and 3. to develop the
development process of Border Patrol Police school administration based on Buddhist education administration. The quantitative data were collected through questionnaire from 297 teachers in border patrol police schools and then analyzed by mean, percentage and standard deviation. The qualitative data were collected from documents, in-depth interview with 23 key-informants
and focus group discussion with 7 key-informants and then analyzed by
content analysis.
The results of the study found that:
1. The status of target education administration of the Border Patrol Police schools in community relation, student affairs, budget, personnel and academic was at a high level overall.
2. The Buddhist education administration principles for education
administration of the Border Patrol Police schools consisted of; 1) academic,
2) educational personnel, 3) Budget, 4)student affairs, and 5) school and community relation. The Buddhist principles to be integrated in school
administration were 1) Sappurisadhamma, 2) Good governance, and
3) Sufficiency Economy principles.
3. The development process of Border Patrol Police school administration
based on Buddhist education administration were composed of 3 main
components: Component 1 consisted of principle, concept and context of the schools, Component 2 consisted of administrations in academic, human resource, budget, student affairs and school and community relation, and Component 3 consisted of Buddhadhamma principles; Good governance, sufficiency economy and Sappurisadhamma
